Life's a bi*ch. Sometimes you try to do everything possible to avoid failure, and that's not enough. Ok, think positively! So - this is a lesson: 1. Try to wash all your corks, 2. Dry them properly, 3. Don't use any traditional wood varnishes (hair spray is max you can do), 4. Store your corks in room temperature, 5. And store them dry, 6. Allow oxygen access, 7. Don't allow sun acces... Any other ideas?
